Alphabetical Order

Ordering the spelling words in small groups, students have the opportunity to help each other using
flashcards and interact in a fun vocabulary activity.

Read! Anytime. Anywhere. Anyhow.

Some reading classes are outdoors. This one was on the playground where kids read about nature. The students discussed and gave opinions about the story after they went back to class, and worked on a comprehension activity.

IT'S SPELLING TIME!

Getting a dry erase whiteboard, students listen to the spelling words and try their best.

They work independently and check their answers as in a whole group.

Checking their handwriting, organization, and clean work give them happy faces for the great job done!

Keep up your good work, kids!

LEADERSHIP

"We rise by lifting others." (Robert Ingersoll)

This semester we studied about leaders and their work.

Understanding the importance of leadership a group, we had a class election.

The ones voted by the 2B Community were:
Class President: Davi Oliveira
Class Governor: Maria Sofia Libanio
Class Mayor: Felipe Schuler

CONGRATULATIONS to all of these young leaders!

Read Around

Once a month our students sit with colleagues from different grades
to share stories they've written in class.

Computer Class

During computer class, Mr. Daniel Holanda brought chromebooks to our classroom. Students sure had a fun and enjoyable time while learning how to use the chromebooks to learn and play.

Academic Reading

After teacher's instruction, students sit in groups to practice academic reading and to discuss the questions that prompt critical thinking.
