Last Friday we had the chance to learn  more about Valentine's Day, as part of our Social Studies Unit: Celebrations around the World

 First we studied about it

Then we enjoyed the sweetness of Valentine's Day

With our teacher

With our dearest friends

It was surely a great and fun experience

Because Valentine's Day is all about getting a chance to let those special people in your life know how much you care about them, how grateful you are for having them in your life, and how much you love them the way they are.

Special Fun Friday: Valentine's Day!

Valentine's is one of the celebrations we're studying in our social studies class.

Reading notes from/to each other encouraged kids about friendship, respect, and love.

Our snack was delicious and diverse!

By living this experience, kids understood the real meaning of Valentine's Day.

Human Body - 1st step: Modeling

Using our friends' bodies to model the human body shape allowed us to work on respect, trust, and boundaries. 

Some had a lot of fun

Some wanted a perfect model

Some felt ticklish and needed help not to move

Some just relaxed

Human body shapes were made

Now, let's find out more about what is missing in this human body shape!
